I.E Produce Latest and Greatest in July

Good morning beauties, or I should actually be saying Buon giorno bellissimi,

If you follow me on social media, you will have seen I’m back from our European holiday. I will be doing a post where I will let you know all we did, where and what we ate, what we loved etc, but for now, just know that it was epic and I’m feeling refreshed and renewed and ready to tackle this last half of the year.

I’m also going to be doing some exciting new wellness talks and cooking workshops, so make sure to sign up to my newsletter in the side bar, or below to be the first to hear about them.

Right, well for now let’s get into the month of July so I can share with you what I’ve been lucky enough to trial. Now I did actually start trying all these goodies before I left, so I would have enough time to really give you some good feedback. I even brought a few of them on my travels, proof they had won me over pretty damn fast.

Right let’s get into I.E Produce’s Latest and Greatest for July. Enjoy x

Hello Raw Granola:

I’m super excited to share with you guys this new range of raw, sprouted, activated and Organic Granolas!! It’s great that new products are popping up all the time, and how many are allowing us to get lots of nutrients from our food, while also ensuring these nutrients are broken down and absorbed more easily.

Now If your wondering what “Activated” means , well it’s where something has been soaked and then dried. By Hello Raw soaking their granola, which is filled with lots of nuts, seeds and grains, they are removing the phytic layer coating that covers all those nuts, seeds and grains. So when you go to enjoy a big bowl of this granola during the week, your body is able to break everything down a lot easier and you can also get more nutrients from your food. How great is that!!!

This is why I also always go on and on about soaking your nuts and seeds before making any nut milks or cashew cheeses. Thankfully though, we don’t have to do anything except enjoy a delicious bowl of the Hello Raw granola,  happy knowing that all the hard work has been done.

My favourite flavours:

I have to say my two favourites are the Superfood Granola, which is all chocolaty and delicious, and the Vanilla and Fig Granola, since I’m ever so slightly obsessed with figs.  I’ve been enjoying my granola with a few dollops of Raglan Coconut Yogurt, some fresh fruit (I’m loving pears, kiwi and rhubarb right now) and then sprinkling a few tsp of the granola on top. Such a delicious yet super nutritious way to start the morning.

I’ve also been adding a few handfuls of the granola into my trail mix jars, such an easy snack. Perfect with a piece of fruit if you’re rushed or on the go a lot.

YUM Granola and Porridge

Ok guys, this month I also have another delicious granola range to share with you, so you will need to decide which one you like the sound…or maybe try both? Now before I get onto their granola, I just have to tell you about their Creamy Apple and Chai grain free porridge!!

Yes, you heard me right, I said grain free. This delicious creamy porridge is made using coconut, sunflower, brazil nuts, dried apple, hazelnuts, flaxseed, chia seeds and spices. That’s it!! All you have to do is cook it with some water or nut milk and your set. I’ve been loving having this during cold mornings and am so excited that it’s made without any grains, as sometimes, I just want something a little lighter and easier to break down. I’ve been serving mine with cinnamon apples, coconut yogurt and a drizzle of maple for a perfect winter warming breakfast!

So now let’s move onto these granolas. There are three flavours to choose from; decadent dark chocolate, coconut-y original and a delicious bircher muesli. All of their granolas are grain free, which is pretty awesome as I definitely have a lot of gluten free clients who struggle with breakfasts, or who are better off without grains in their diets.

They are also all organic, and the Bircher Muesli is even sugar free. They basically just contain wholefoods such as coconut flakes, sunflower seeds, currants, flaxseeds, a little honey (in some), cinnamon and cacao powder. It honestly feels like more of a delicious trail mix than granola, yummy!

I’ve been enjoying mine with some homemade almond milk and a few slices of banana, or if I have a chocolate craving in the afternoon then I have been known to just munch on a handful which has definitely done the trick.

24 Bottles

Ok so I’m a little bit excited to share with you this new brand of urban water bottles that are reusable, light weight stainless steel  and carbon neutral. Phew that’s a lot of redeeming qualities. I was lucky enough to try three of their bottles, the stunning light pink 8 oz bottle (that I actually took with me to Europe last month), their beautiful bleu-y grey “hot and cold thermo” bottle that Matt has seriously loved on his morning comute to work, and lastly the perfect workout bottle in a creamy white. This one really ticked the box for me, it’s a full 16 oz drink bottle which is still light enough to carry in your handbag.

These drink bottles definitely feel like grade A drink bottles. What I mean by that is that they are quality through and through. The colours are stunning, the sizes are perfect, they are light weight and they are also eco friendly. So, what more could you want in a drink bottle. I am definitely converted and I’m so excited that I got the opportunity to test them, they are amazing.

There is a huge range of colours to choose from, vibrant purples, pinks, blacks, whites, greys and basically every colour you could ever want in a drink bottle. So guys if your looking for a new bottle or wanting to switch from your plastic ones, then please give these a go. You wont regret it and they will soon become a staple in your life – they definitely have in mine.

Andalou Naturals ‘Quenching Range’

Ok Lovelies, lucky last little goodie to share with you and it’s pretty amazing. This is a a really cool range of skincare products that are both vegan and natural. The range is massive, so today I thought I would share a small part of it, their Quenching range that I think you’ll love.

This range has around seven products, which all work to hydrate and nourish your skin, very fitting considering the cold inside weather we are experiencing.  I’ve been trialing both their cleanser and toner each day, as well as their firming mask when ever my skin has felt extra dry….also their serums, which love.

I’m always really hesitant when trying new skincare, as I have very sensitive skin and I can break out really easily (which is not ideal), but thankfully when I tried this range my skin loved it. I slowly eased into these products (which I recommend to anyone planning on trialing them) so that my skin could adjust and get used to the change.

My favourites would definitely have to be the firming serum, eye lift cream (which was a savour during all the flying I did last month) and the firming toner, which I spritz on my face morning and night before my moisturiser, to really hydrate my skin.

I’m going to try the day and night cream over the next few weeks, so I’ll be able to tell you how I find that as well. So if your looking for a new skincare range to try or you simply want to make the step towards natural skincare (which I hope you do), then this is 100% a range I would recommend, especially if you have sensitive skin like mine.

Oh and by the way, everything in this range smells amazing – like a tropical coconut beach holiday. Divine!!

And there you have it, this month’s Latest and Greatest from I.E Produce. If you have anything that you would like to see in this monthly feature, please do reach out. I’d love to hear from, especially to better understand what you might be interested in.

I hope you’re now feeling super inspired to transform your breakfasts into something amazing, throw out your plastic water bottles and jump on board with a new natural skincare range.

Have a beautiful day, I will hopefully catch you again next week on my blog.
